Green Lake

This unique natural beauty is located southwest of the department of Potosi Llincancabur the volcano at an altitude of 4,350 meters., Occupies an area of 17 square kilometers. One of the salient features is the color of water, which is emerald green, a result of the high content of magnesium that have the geological formations of the area. On the banks of the lagoon is stunning black volcanic stones of enormous size and rock salt that emerge from inside the earth. The depth of this gap has not yet been determined, its banks are interesting for the training you have and the huge space on its beaches.

The flora is composed of rough straw that grows depending on wind direction and intensity. The fauna is very low, probably due to lack of pasture. The most scenic tours are along its banks, where it has spectacular views of both the lagoon and surrounding hills which are a contrast of colors, which are reflected by the mirror of water of the lagoon. Some of the activities are hiking, adventure travel and ecotourism. We recommend visiting during the winter by the panoramic views offered by the site.
